During my recent holiday stay at the Texas Inn Beeville, I found a cozy enclave amidst the hustle and bustle of Christmas travels. Located conveniently near local attractions, it offered a warm welcome that was epitomized by the incredibly friendly staff, who graciously provided complimentary BBQ food—an unexpected delight! While the room itself was far from perfect, with its disheveled appearance and a less than pleasant odor, the plush bedding and cold sheets provided the comfort I needed after a long day. Great air conditioning certainly helped too; a must for Texas winters where the weather fluctuates unexpectedly. Breakfast availability could certainly use improvement, as my early arrival found the food gone, but I did appreciate the amenities like the outdoor pool and the BBQ area, which we utilized for leisurely evenings under the stars. For a modest price of $60 a night, it’s a practical pit-stop for those traveling with family or friends, as it has room for socializing, and its friendly atmosphere caters to those who enjoy casual mingling.
